- Storytelling through Case Studies, Manifesto Videos & Sizzle Reels: I’ve worked at top-tier advertising agencies such as JWT, Doremus, and KBS+ (Kirshenbaum), as well as strategic solutions firm Hill+Knowlton, to turn their success stories and creative ideas into captivating short-form pieces. Offering a broad range of capabilities in the process—writing, editing, art directing, sketching and storyboarding, sound designing and syncing, and post-production animation—I was able to ensure continuity between the original intent of the work and the final deliverable.
- Growing Businesses by Expanding Capabilities: Having a background in both print and digital, I made a transformative contribution to InVentiv, a pharmaceutical advertising agency that had a print studio with zero digital capabilities. I built a digital department operating in conjunction with the print studio, offering a host of new services from digital design to video production to interactive on-site activations. The department model was such a success that it was rebuilt in a much larger capacity in InVentiv’s Ohio HQ. Similarly, I was brought in to a financial divison of Unilever that had no creative department. Acting as Group Art Supervisor, I managed a team of dozens of freelancers in an epic pitch for $5B of new business. When the 6,000-page deliverable was complete, I continued on to help out a subsidiary brand by redesigning their website and creating a brand book.
THE PAST DECADE PLUS (FREELANCE)
JWT & HOGARTH—ANIMATOR & STORYBOARD ARTIST
I worked with the Creative Director and Writer to help storyboard ideas for commercials. I sketched out what I thought we needed and directed the illustrators to get the visuals we needed. Then I animated, edited, and synced music for the pieces.
KBS+ & MDC—LEAD ANIMATOR & VIDEO ARTIST
I worked closely with the BMW team—editing digital film for rips, animating logo end-cards for broadcast TV, and creating entry submissions for Cannes. Having earned their trust over the years, I was tasked with creating the sizzle reel for their parent company MDC.
Hill+Knowlton—CREATIVE STRATEGIST & VIDEO ARTIST
I co-wrote compelling scripts to showcase the success stories of their campaigns. Then I art directed storyboards, animated motion graphics, edited digital film, and soundtracked the final cut for submission to Cannes Lions.
HavasMedia—ANIMATOR
From a word doc of stats, I created a series of visually engaging 60-second animations that were incorporated into their new business pitches. It’s the first thing their clients saw, setting the tone and energy for the rest of the meeting.

I currently work with production houses and post-production departments to bring quality motion to their clients’ advertisements. The wide range of brands and audiences require different approaches to design aesthetics and animation.
THE FEW YEARS PRIOR (FULL-TIME)
InVentiv—DIGITAL STUDIO DIRECTOR
I was brought in to build a multimedia department from the ground up, starting by providing speaker support, trade show touchscreen kiosks, and interactive email announcements. Within two years, I hired staff and augmented the department with full video production services. We were then able to brand, package, and sell this studio concept to the company headquarters in Ohio, where it thrives today.

Shortly after I graduated from college, I joined a small shop serving Fortune 500 companies (Lancôme, Canon, Sharp, Arm&Hammer, etc.) with a wide range of digital media, including interactive applications, corporate web sites, email marketing campaigns, trade show kiosks, multi-screen TV walls, speaker support, and set designs. I sharpened my skills at helping clients to translate their needs into digital deliverables.
